Audrey F. (Gordon) Florent, 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday Aug.16 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Brian Florent. Born in Winchester on Jan. 16, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Leet) Gordon.
Employed as a certified nursing assistant for several years with Lakeview Nursing in Haverhill, Florent was a devoted wife and mother who cared dearly for her family and home. She enjoyed time with her family, knitting, collecting stuffed animals and gathering seashells along the shore while her husband fished. She will be dearly remembered by all those who were blessed to know her.
Florent is survived by her husband Brian Florent of Haverhill, three children Shawn Shippee of Dover, N.H., Amy Shippee and fiance Jerry of Haverhill, and Nicole Raymond of Rochester, N.H. She also leaves behind five grandchildren Keiana, Jordan, Marcus Gabriel and Xera, three brothers, Joseph Gordon, Clifford Gordon and wife Susan and Wayne Gordon, her sister Linda Cottrell and significant other Stuart Henry, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, Aug. 24 from 5-7 p.m. at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhil. Burial will be private.
