A male motorcyclist was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with serious injuries sustained in a Thursday afternoon crash on Haverhill’s River Street, police confirm to WHAV.
Friends and family have since identified the motorcycle driver as Cory Croteau, 26, of Haverhill. They report he is in critical condition at a Boston hospital.
Just after noon, police and fire units responded to the area of 449 River St., to tend to the “serious” accident between a car and the motorcycle, Haverhill Police Captain Robert P. Pistone told WHAV.
River Street is blocked to through traffic while State Police and Haverhill Police accident reconstruction teams investigate the crash.
