More than a dozen local eateries are ready to wow Haverhill foodies when the city’s very first Restaurant Week takes place Aug. 17-26. As part of the event put on by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, area restaurants are making $5 and $10 deals available to customers during regular business hours.
The Peddler’s Daughter, Keon’s, Wang’s Table, 110 Grill and UNO Bar & Grill have put together $30 special prix fixe menus, the Chamber said. Their special menus are available on the Haverhill Restaurant Week website.
The full lineup of $5 and $10 specials is as follows:
A-1 Deli: $5 Special Offer—Cheese omelette with home fries, toast and coffee
A Sweet Affair: $5 Special Offer – Dole Whip Float, ice cream-filled donuts, cereal-infused soft serve
Bradford Place Café: $5 Special Offer – Breakfast sandwich, home fries and a small coffee
Café G. Raffs: $5 Special Offer—Sausage breakfast bowl with toast
Carter’s Ice Cream: $5 Special Offer—large sundae
La Pizza Di Forno: $5 Special Offer – two slices & a drink (non-alcoholic)
Kruger Flatbread: $5 Special Offer—No. 1: BBQ Chicken Quesadilla; No. 2: BBQ Wings; No. 3: Mozzarella sticks; No. 4: 12-inch Hillie cheese pizza

The event is put on in partnership with Haverhill-based food blogger Gerald Schiavoni of Merrimack Valley Eats. Schiavoni is scheduled to appear on WHAV’s Open Mic Show with Bill Macek on Monday, Aug. 13 to share more about Restaurant Week from 7-8 p.m. only on 97.9 WHAV FM.
