Wayne A. Curtis, 92, passed away unexpectedly at his home July 26, 2018.
Born in Haverhill, Nov. 1, 1925, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Charlotte P. (Foot) Curtis.
On March 23, 1943 Curtis enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and served with the 9th Troop Carrier Squadron until his honorable discharge with the rank of private first class. His awards included the Asiatic-Pacific Service Ribbon.
He worked at the former Western Electric, and retired as an Auditor following 27 years of service. He was the brother of the late Charles E. Curtis.
