Angel Medina Jr., 40, Worked at Quirk Mazda

Angel Medina Jr., 40, passed away Aug. 2, at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill surrounded by his family.

Born in Boston, he was the son of Martha Lopez of Fort Myers, Fla., and the late Angel Medina. Raised and educated in Boston, he was a graduate of Madison Park High School. Medina was employed at the Quirk Mazda Dealership in Quincy. He loved hanging out with his family and friends and was very independent. He enjoyed all genres of music and loved watching movies, especially comedies. He was able to find joy in his life despite the challenges he faced. Medina never let those challenges stand in the way of what he wanted to accomplish.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers, Felix Medina and his girlfriend Destiny Vadeboncoeur of Haverhill, George Medina, Carlos Medina, Francisco Medina and Daniel Medina, all of Haverhill; sisters, Martha Medina and her husband Santo Amador of Boston, Maria Medina of Haverhill; Bisquenia Rodriquez of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Sunday, Aug. 5, from 4-7 p.m. at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services begin Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill at 11 a.m. Burial is private.
