To encourage summer reading and promote early literacy, the Mount Washington Alliance hosts a series of bilingual storytime sessions across the city throughout the month of August.
Ninety-minute sessions include stories read in English and Spanish, sing-alongs, and arts and craft activities.
All children receive a free book and are eligible for weekly giveaway prizes.
Consentino School, 685 Washington St.: Aug. 2, Aug. 9, Aug. 16 from 10-11:30 a.m.
Silver Hill School, 675 Washington St.: Aug. 10 and 17 from 10-11:30 a.m.
Swasey Field (Dates are weather permitting): Aug. 4 from 10-11:30 a.m. and Aug. 9 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Wysocki Park (Dates are weather permitting): Aug. 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. and Aug. 11 from 2-3:30 p.m.
