Catherine A. (Yuele) DeFeo, 69, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 28, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Haverhill, May 21, 1949. DeFeo was a lifelong teacher and then executive director of Haverhill Day Care Center in Bradford. She dedicated 52 years to the children and families of Haverhill and loved her job. She was an avid reader, loved going to the beach and on her annual Disney vacations. She was a lover of musicals, Barry Manilow and Hershey’s Chocolate.
Her surviving family members include her husband, Michael DeFeo; children, Michael DeFeo Jr. and Marcie DeFeo, both of Haverhill; siblings Dennis and Linda Yuele, Billy and Sherri Croston, Richard Croston and Kelly and Lorna Croston; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Helen Croston and siblings Patricia Currier and Paul “Babe” Yuele.
Services are private. Contributions may be made in Cathy’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill.
