Haverhill Public Schools are back in session on August 28 and to make sure local students are prepared, Ozzie’s Kids—the nonprofit founded by former Haverhill Police Officer Ozzie Hardy—is collecting school supply donations.
Hardy tells WHAV donations of backpacks for all ages, pencil cases, rulers, glue and glue sticks are most needed. The group will distribute supplies starting in mid-August.
Residents with items to donate are asked to connect with Hardy via his Ozzie’s Kids Facebook page to arrange pickup of the items.
