Sandra M. ‘Moochie’ Cook, 39, Walmart Customer Service Manager

Sandra M. “Moochie” Cook, 39, passed away on Sunday, July 15 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the beloved daughter of John J. and Margaret L. (Mitchell) Cook. She attended elementary school in Haverhill and middle and high school at Timberlane, graduating with the class of 1997. She was employed for over 17 years as a customer service manager at Walmart.

Cook was a kind, giving, loving woman with a heart of gold who thought of everyone before herself. She volunteered for every event to help others, including the Relay for Life in Haverhill, which she was looking forward to participating in as a survivor at the Relay next year. She enjoyed bowling in a local league and loved hanging out with family and friends around the fire pit at a friend’s house. Cook loved children and adored her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her boyfriend of 18 years, Ronald L. Rogers of Haverhill, sisters Kami May Cook of Haverhill, Grace Rowe of Dover, N.H., brothers Wesley N. Mitchell of Epping, N.H., T.J. George Cook and his wife Debbie of Haverhill, Dutch Rowe and his wife Mary of Haverhill, her beloved nephews Alex Mitchell, Juan Pablo Barrera, Mateo Barrera, adored nieces Megan Mitchell and Paige Mitchell, great-niece, Annabell S. Viens, special little friend Sophia Rollins, godmother Kathleen Smith of Florida and several aunts, uncles and cousins of all ages. She was predeceased by her grandparents, two aunts, two uncles and her godfather Nelson “Red” Smith.

A funeral was held Friday at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Burial will be private.
