Haverhill’s Norma Giorato is $100,000 richer after claiming a Massachusetts State Lottery prize this week.
Giorato’s luck began June 30 with her decision to let a computer pick five random numbers on a “Quick Pick” lottery ticket purchased from the Haverhill Qwik Mart at 764 Main St.
Winning that night’s drawing with the numbers 01-13-19-21-22, Giorato picked up her check from state lottery headquarters in Braintree on Thursday.
Her net payment is $71,000 after taxes, a Lottery spokeswoman told WHAV.
