Margaret E. (Peck) LaBonte-Davichik, 89, Retired From Seymour Shoe

Margaret E. (Peck) LaBonte-Davichik, 89, of Hampton, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, died Thursday morning, July 5, at her son’s home in Hampton, N.H.

She was born in Haverhill on Jan. 9, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Nathaniel L. and Elsie M. (Tosach) Peck.

Educated in the Haverhill school system, LaBonte-Davichik was employed in the local shoe industry at an early age. She was also employed as a coil winder at the former Western Electric in North Andover. She retired from Seymour Shoe in 1974.

While in Haverhill, she attended the former St. Joseph’s Church.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her family was the most important part of her life.

She was the wife of the late Robert F. LaBonte, and the late Peter Davichik. Her survivors include a son, Robert F. LaBonte Jr. and his wife Nancy of Hampton, N.H., two stepsons, Gerald Davichik and his wife Kathy of North Carolina, Paul F. Davichik of Haverhill, stepdaughter Anne T. Kennell of Salisbury, 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Wednesday, July 11 from 5-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral will be Thursday morning, July 12, beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
