Congressional candidate Rufus Gifford will be in Haverhill to greet voters during a Monday night reception at the home of Democratic City Committee Chair Bill Cox and Joel Gagnon from 6-8 p.m.
Light refreshments and drinks will be served during the reception at 8 Richmond St. and the event is free of charge. To attend, please RSVP by calling 978-374-6297.
Gifford, a former senior aide to President Barack Obama, is one of several democrats vying to succeed retiring Congresswoman Niki Tsongas to represent the 3rd District, which includes Haverhill.
