Haverhill Public Library’s ‘Get Lit’ Book Club Seeks New Members

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Haverhill Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Community Spotlight is heard quarter past every hour on 97.9 WHAV. Greater Haverhill non-profit organizations are invited to submit news of events, fundraising appeals and other community calendar announcements. Click to use the Submit News Tip form to submit your information.

Haverhill book lovers in their 20s and 30s are invited to join the library’s “Get Lit” book club that meets the third Monday of every month at the Peddler’s Daughter downtown.

July’s pick is “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” by Maria Semple and will be discussed from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16. Future book choices are available by visiting the library’s website.

No advance registration is necessary and readers don’t need to have finished the book to attend. For more information, call Abby Porter at 978-373-1586 x608.
