Michael B. Kaddy, 53, passed away on July 1 at Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Portsmouth, N.H., he was the son of the late Bedford O. Kaddy, Jr. and Mary E. (Lalonde) Coleman of Lebanon, Maine. Raised and educated in Lebanon, Maine, he was a graduate of Noble High School in Berwick, Maine.
Kaddy moved from Maine to Massachusetts in 1996. He was employed for many years as a manager for Verizon. He loved gardening, planting and caring for his roses. He traveled to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., many times and enjoyed attending concerts. He will always be known as a loving person who made friends with everyone he met. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving mother, Kaddy is survived by his partner of over 20 years, Robert Dangora of Haverhill, three sisters, Michelle Kaddy and Sue Guilmette, both of Lebanon, Maine, Melissa Mercer of Fitchburg, his dear friends, Jill O’Neil of Maine, stepfather John Coleman of Gardner, his beloved cat Faith, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, July 21 at 1 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Donations may be made in his memory to Ally Cat Allies, 7920 Norfolk Avenue, Suite 600, Bethesda, MD 20814.
