City advocacy group Greater Haverhill Indivisible hosts a rally opposing President Donald J. Trump’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy on Saturday, June 30 as part of a national “Families Belong Together” day of action.

Haverhill’s rally kicks off at 11 a.m. in White’s Corner at the intersection of Merrimack and Main Streets in front of the Market Basket Plaza.

“We will continue to increase our pressure for justice joining the national rally to say that families belong together and ask to end detentions of families,” Greater Haverhill Indivisible’s Demet Haksever tells WHAV.

Residents are invited to RSVP for the non-violent, peaceful rally via Facebook by searching for the “Together & Free Rally Against Family Separation” event page.
