Bradford Common Summer Concert Series Kicks Off July 6

Summer music is coming to the Bradford Common starting next Friday for the first of six free weekly concerts through August.

Kicking off the seasonal series on July 6 is Franky Boy and the Blues Express with opening acts Alex Potenza and Bill Mullen.

July 13 is jazz night, with music by Grammy Award-winner Amadee Castenell and Parker Wheeler.

All shows begin at 6 p.m. and attendees are invited to bring blankets or chairs to keep comfortable. The series, now in its 11th year, is put on by Paul Prue with the support of the First Church of Christ.

Aug. 10: The New Metaboo
