Deborah A. Levasseur, 55, passed away Thursday, June 21, after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 19, 1962 in Haverhill to Lillian (Hayes) Levasseur and the late Norman Levasseur. She was the eldest of three children. She graduated from Haverhill High School in 1980 and attended Burdett Secretarial School. Levasseur was employed at Pentucket Medical billing office and previously with Northeast Dermatology Associates. She loved spending time with her family, gardening and listening to music by Vince Gill.
Her surviving family members include her mother Lillian A. (Hayes) Levasseur; siblings Donna (Levasseur) Jarvis and husband Michael and Norman Levasseur Jr. and wife Rose; niece Katherine (Katie) (Jarvis) Peabody and nephews Daniel, Donald and Michael Jarvis; great niece Lyndsay Bowen and great nephew Joseph Peabody.
Visiting hours are Monday, June 25, at Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main St., Haverhill from 4 to 8 p.m. Services are Tuesday, beginning in the funeral home at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main St., Haverhill at 10 a.m. Burial followd in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Levasseur’s memory to either Operation Delta Dog, 321 Billerica Road, Ste. 100, Chelmsford, MA, 01824 or to Honor Flight New England, PO Box 16287, Hooksett, NH 03106, both of which were dear to her heart.
