Haverhill Police Arrest New Jersey Man for Fentanyl Trafficking

Haverhill Police Wednesday arrested a New Jersey man on several drug charges including fentanyl trafficking.

Officer Brian Bailey took 31-year-old Roque Zabala Alcantara, of Trenton, N.J., into custody on Washington Street just before 7 p.m. In addition to fentanyl trafficking, Alcantara must also answer to charges relating to the possession of and intention to distribute a class A drug.

Also arrested Wednesday were Haverhill’s Michael Monti, busted for indecent exposure, and Salem’s Jessica Barnes, who was taken into custody on warrant-related burglary charges.
