Haverhill’s Final Citywide Budget Review Happens Wednesday

Mayor James J. Fiorentini and his local government leaders are expected to sign off on all elements of the city’s fiscal year 2019 budget this Wednesday night during an open meeting at City Hall.

The review session takes place in Room 204 of City Hall, 4 Summer St., starting at 7 p.m., and follows weeks of often tense negotiations among the School Committee, City Council and municipal agencies including the Haverhill Police and Fire Departments.

Monday, June 18, 9 a.m.: Haverhill License Commission – City Hall, 4 Summer St., Room 118

Tuesday, June 19, 10:30 a.m.: Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control & Wetlands Management Board of Commissioners meeting – 118 Tenney St., Georgetown.

Tuesday, June 19, 7 p.m.: Haverhill City Hall – City Hall, Room 202

Wednesday, June 20, 7 p.m.: Haverhill Board of Appeals public hearing – City Hall, Room 202

Thursday, June 21, 8:30 a.m.: Haverhill Public Library Board of Trustees – Library, 99 Main St.

Thursday, June 21, 7 p.m.: Haverhill Conservation Commission – City Hall, Room 301

Thursday, June 21, 7 p.m.: Merrimack Valley Planning Commission – 160 Main St., Haverhill
