Kent Daniel Klueber, 76, Retired from Western Electric

Kent Daniel Klueber, 76, of Groveland, passed away Monday, June 11 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton.

He was born in Haverhill on May 20, 1942, the son of the late Joseph D. and Cecile (Dubois) Klueber.

Klueber was a graduate of Haverhill High School and was in the Army National Guard Reserves. He was employed at the former Western Electric from which he retired after 40 years.

Klueber was a resident of North Andover for many years and Groveland for the last 22 years.

He spent a great deal of time with his extended family and especially loved being “Papa” to his two grandchildren. He was an avid football fan and loved a great round of golf. He and his wife loved to travel and took numerous cruises, but most enjoyed time spent with his family on Cape Cod. Klueber was an incredibly social guy and made friends wherever he went. His kindness and generosity touched everyone he met and he will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary (O’Connell) Klueber, daughter Kirsten M. Klueber and her husband Thomas Dean of Haverhill, son Matthew Klueber of Groveland; sister Linda Vinson of Fletcher, N.C., grandchildren Declan and Fiona Dean of Haverhill, cousin William Klueber of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday June 17 from 4-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Rte. 125) Bradford. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St. Bradford. Burial will be private. Contributions in his memory may be made to Haverhill High School Athletics, 137 Monument St., Haverhill, MA 01832.
