Haverhill Budget Talks Continue This Week: Schools, Fire Department to Meet

Budget talks continue this week in Haverhill, with the public schools and fire department meetings among those planned.

In lieu of a City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 12, budget sessions for Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, the Stadium Commission and the Haverhill Public Schools take place in Room 204 of City Hall.

On Wednesday, the Haverhill Fire Department’s budget goes under the microscope in Room 204, along with that of the Haverhill Public Library and Inspectional Services.

All sessions begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public.

A final citywide budget review is expected to take place on Monday, June 18, per City Council President John A. Michitson.

Wednesday, June 13, 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.: Merrimack Valley Planning Commission Transportation Public Hearings – 160 Main St., Haverhill

Wednesday, June 13, 7 p.m.: Haverhill Planning Board – City Hall, Room 202
