Gisela D. Caceres, 42, formerly of Haverhill, the wife of Vladimir Cruz, passed away unexpectedly while visiting her family on June 6.
Born in Bonao, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Danilo Caceres and Gisela Bautista Caceres of Haverhill. Raised and educated in the Dominican Republic, she moved to Haverhill in 1996. Caceres traveled and lived in Spain. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister and daughter who enjoyed her husband and children. She loved to cook and was known as a happy, joyful woman who spread her happiness wherever she went. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband, mother and father, she is survived by her children, Christopher A. Cruz, Genesis A. Cruz, Jennifer A. Cruz and Christian Cruz, all of Springfield Gardens, N.Y., her loving sister, Danency A. Caceres of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held on June 10 and overseen by the Kevin B. Comeau funeral home.
