Jeaneene (MacDonald) Lennon, 82, of Groveland passed away on June 3 at Prescott House in North Andover.
She was born in Charlestown on April 13, 1936, the daughter of the late John and Ivy MacDonald. Lennon was educated at Girls Latin School Boston and Florence Utt Business School in Boston.
She was employed at First National Stores in Somerville, R.H. Stearns in Woburn and enjoyed interior decorating and reading.
Lennon is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years John A. Lennon of Groveland. She was predeceased by her siblings Brenden, Edsel, Shirley and Gail.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 10 a.m. at the Groveland Congregational Church, 4 King St., Groveland. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Groveland. Contributions in her memory may be made to the donor’s choice.
