A sendoff for Scully! Members of the Haverhill Public Schools community are coming together on Monday, June 11 to celebrate outgoing superintendent James F. Scully and wish him well as he begins retirement.

Haverhill residents are invited to the casual 6 p.m. gathering at Bradford Country Club for a $30 entry fee, which includes a donation to the James F. Scully Scholarship Fund. A barbecue is planned with plenty of time available for attendees to speak and visit with Scully.

Tickets are available by calling Beverly Cassano at 978-420-1906 and must be reserved by Wednesday, May 30.

Scully’s eight-year tenure is followed by first-year Haverhill Superintendent Margaret Marotta, who comes to the city from the Salem, Mass., school system.
