Greater Lawrence Family Health Center has named Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley’s William Chrisemer as the healthcare organization’s newest chief financial officer and senior vice president, effective July 9.

New hire Chrisemer is no stranger to the area medical mainstay. Serving on the Health Center’s board of directors from 2000-2012, Chrisemer was also a former member of the patient care committee.

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center CEO John Silva is excited to have Chrisemer onboard.

“Bill’s wealth of experience with nonprofit finance in the Merrimack Valley will be invaluable to GLFHC as it continues to grow,” said Silva. “In addition, his experience with our organization after his many years of volunteer commitment on our board and patient care committee make Bill the ideal person to take on this leadership role.”

Prior to joining the Health Center, Chrisemer served in the same position at Advocates, Inc., a Framingham-based organization that assists individuals with developmental disabilities. He also spent 11 years as the director of administration and finance at Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley.
