Community Action offers a three-night education course for first-time homebuyers in Haverhill starting on Thursday, May 31.
Sessions are held from 6-9 p.m. on May 31, June 5 and June 7 at Bradford’s Presidential Gardens on Evergreen Drive, with no income requirements for participation.
For $60 per household, residents receive comprehensive information on bank lending, working with brokers, real estate attorneys and home inspectors. Tips on affordable housing lotteries and loans are also provided.
A Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative-approved certificate is issued to all participants upon completion of the three-night program.
