Robert W. Foulkes, 59, Worked at Sanborn Tire

Robert W. Foulkes, 59, passed away on May 20 at Lawrence General Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Lewis R. Foulkes and Marguerite (Warner) Foulkes-Dolph of Bradford. He was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School’s class of 1977. He was a welder by trade, but also worked at Tire Warehouse and Sanborn Tire where he repaired rims. He loved working on cars and collecting classic cars. Foulkes was a talented singer and loved music. He was the lead singer for the group 80 Miles Per Hour and played various venues throughout the area. He enjoyed camping at Old Orchard Beach, Maine with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Foulkes is survived by his sons, Paul, R. Foulkes of Bradford, Christopher Foulkes of Bradford, sisters Mary Beth Paradis of Auburn, N.H., Rebecca Kilfoyle and her husband John of Maynard, grandson, Dominic Foulkes and granddaughter Sophia Foulkes and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Lewis Foulkes.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 25 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
