A Tewksbury man accused of burglarizing New England Patriots player Rob Gronkowski’s home was arraigned Tuesday in connection to an Andover crime spree.
Shayne Denn, 26, pleaded not guilty to several charges including destruction of property, receiving a stolen vehicle and larceny, the Woburn District Court clerk’s office told WHAV.
Denn is accused of slamming a stolen GMC pickup truck into a Wilmington auto body shop, breaking into a gas station in Tewksbury, and crashing into a home on Andover’s School Street on March 22.
Using evidence from the Andover incident, police were able to determine that all three crimes were related and committed by the same suspect.
Denn and two other men, Anthony Almeida and Eric Tyrrell, are accused of breaking into Gronkowski’s Foxborough home while he was away at February’s Super Bowl. Police said items from Gronk’s home were found in the trunk of Denn’s car.
Denn was ordered held on $7,500 cash bail Tuesday in relation to the March incident.
