Funeral services for Nike Colon, the Haverhill High School grad killed in last Thursday’s drive-by shooting in the city’s Mount Washington neighborhood, are planned for later this week, his family has announced.

The arrangements are being handled by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home. Calling hours take place on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at 486 Main St., with funeral services set for Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Colon’s burial follows at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker St., Lawrence.

In his obituary, Colon is remembered as a 20-year-old with a love of fashion and a great sense of humor. Employed by Market Basket at the time of his death, Colon spent his spare time listening to Spanish music and working on cars.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I., Colon was raised and educated in Haverhill by his father Edgar Santiago and mother Michelee (Colon) Geronimo and her husband Nestor Geronimo.

In addition to his parents, Colon is survived by his siblings, Javier Colon Santiago, Edgardo Colon Santiago, Damien Colon, Diamantis Santiago, grandmother Nilda Colon of Ocala, Fla., and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
