DA Identifies Hampton, N.H., Woman, 38, As Person Pulled From River

Thirty-eight-year-old Jennifer Succo of Hampton, N.H., has been identified as the woman pulled from Haverhill’s Little River near Lafayette Square Friday morning.

Carrie Kimball-Monahan, spokeswoman for Essex County District Attorney’s Jonathan W. Blodgett, confirmed the identity of the woman. Officials were alerted to the scene by a passerby who spotted Succo’s body in the area where the river crosses under Winter Street and called 911 at 8:05 a.m. Kimball-Monahan previously told WHAV foul play is not suspected.

The investigation was conducted by Haverhill and State Police. Personnel from the state medical examiner’s office were also on scene Friday.
