Mary T. (Dufresne) White, 64, CNA at Haverhill’s Wingate Nursing Home

Mary T. (Dufresne) White, 64, passed away May 17 at Academy Manor in Andover with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Isabel T. (McGinnis) Dufresne. Raised and educated in Haverhill, White was a graduate of Haverhill High School’s class of 1972. She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at various nursing homes in the Merrimack Valley area and at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill. In her younger years, she enjoyed going out dancing. She also liked going out to eat. White was devoted to her family and she adored her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

White is survived by her loving children, Martin E. Foley Jr. of Haverhill, Joseph E. Foley of Nashua, N.H., Jason White of Maine, Carrie (White) Long and her husband Christopher of Brockton, her brother, Laurence R. “Larry” Dufresne of Methuen, five grandchildren, Sean Foley, Castle Long, Cora Long, Joshua Foley, Kaiden Foley and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, May 21 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22 at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
