Groveland Celebrates Town Library’s 100th Anniversary This Week

The town of Groveland marks 100 years this week, with residents invited to celebrate the milestone Saturday, May 19 at a birthday party for the former Langley Adams Library.

Refreshments will be served from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 271 Main St., in Groveland.

Members of the public are invited for $5, with tickets sold at Town Hall, the current Langley Adams Library and at the door on Saturday.

  1. The head line ‘Groveland Celebrates Town’s 100th Anniversary This Week” is very misleading and incorrect. The eastern section of Bradford became the Town of Groveland in 1850, I believe it is the library that is celebrating its’ 100 anniversary.
