Cynthia A. (Smith) Marini, 60, Worked at Ward Hill’s Savoy Leather

Cynthia A. (Smith) Marini, 60, wife of Michael M. Marini, passed away May 12 at her home in Kingston, N.H., surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wichita, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Arthur Smith and Glenda (Turner) Pearson. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School’s class of 1976. She was employed at Savoy Leather in Ward Hill, Marshall Industries in Wilminton and Avnet, Inc., in Reading for 25 years. Marini was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her loving husband Michael, she is survived by her sons, Michael M. Marini and his wife Kerri of Haverhill, William R. Marini and his wife Hannah of Kingston, N.H., brothers Kenneth Smith of Sandown, N.H., Timothy Smith and his wife Colleen of Haverhill, sisters Brenda Damon and her husband Ross of Raymond, N.H., Susan Briggs and his husband Brikki of Bedford, Terry Pearson of Haverhill, three grandchildren Dylan Marini, Kirstyn Taylor, Nyomi Lyn, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, William Pearson.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 18 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, East Broadway, Haverhill on Saturday, May 19 at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Beth Israel Oncology Department, 330 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
