They are the champions! Northern Essex’s Knights baseball team celebrated a 5-4 win over Quinsigamond Community College Monday, earning the Region 21 championship trophy.

The win at Haverhill’s Trinity Stadium followed a 10-6 win over Massasoit and marked the Knights’ seventh consecutive appearance in the regional finals.
Peabody-based sophomore infielder Ryan Collins was named tournament MVP.
