Lorna J. (Lundin) Falasca, 74, Formerly Employed at Converse Shoe Factory

Lorna J. (Lundin) Falasca, 74, the wife of the late Daniel J. Falasca, passed away May 5 in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.

Born in Woburn, she was raised as a young girl in Woburn, and lived most of her life in Malden. Falasca was employed as a bartender at the former VFW Post 639 in Malden, as a lunch attendant in the Malden School system and when she was younger, in the Converse Sneaker factory also in Malden. She loved spending time on the lakes of New Hampshire, at her cottage in Raymond, N.H., and later at her camper in Sandown, N.H. She enjoyed crafting and was a great organizer, including organizing the carnivals at the campgrounds she resided at during the summers. Known as the best cook in the family, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Falasca is survived by her children, Maryanne DiModica of Haverhill, Richard L. Lundin of Haverhill, her grandchildren, Michael DiModica, Evan and Emily Lundin, her siblings, Warren (Bubba) Lundin and his wife Shirley, Leslie Lundin and his wife Melody, Kevin Lundin and his wife Carol, William Lundin and his wife Denise, great aunt Rose Stygles and aunt Marilou Lundin and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Donald Lundin; sisters, Marianne Bonyman, Janet Norris Gray and Joanne Gardner.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, May 12 from 3-5 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A celebration of her life will follow in the funeral home at 5 p.m.
