A 19-year-old Lawrence man stabbed himself in the thigh Monday morning in the parking lot of the Plaistow, N.H., Walmart, police confirm to WHAV.
Capt. Brett Morgan said authorities responded to the area near the department store off Route 125 around 10:30 a.m. to conduct a well-being check on the man. Police were alerted to the situation from a concerned caller familiar with the man’s history.
No charges have been filed and the man is expected to recover from his injury after receiving treatment at Lawrence General Hospital.
