Haverhill Man, 55, Faces Multiple Drug Charges After Downtown Arrest

Haverhill Police arrested Orlando Lopez, 55, of 108 Blaisdell St., Tuesday on one count of drug possession and three counts of distribution of a class B substance.

Lopez was also charged with driving on a suspended license. He was arrested at 34 Emerson St., near the Boys and Girls Club, at about 8 p.m.

Class B drugs are considered the second most dangerous category of illegal substances and includes cocaine, LSD, oxycontin, ecstasy, amphetamines, methamphetamines and PCP or angel dust.

Two Haverhill residents were also picked up on warrant-related charges Tuesday.

Richard Gerrish, 53, of 187 Main St. and John Roeger, 33, of 3 South St. were both wanted for automobile-related charges. Roeger also faces a charge of possession of a class A substance.
