Congressional hopeful Dan Koh is ready to mobilize his campaign supporters in greater Haverhill. The Andover-based candidate in the race to succeed the 3rd Essex District’s Niki Tsongas has signed a lease for office space at 63 River St., and plans to celebrate his move to the neighborhood at a launch event Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

“We’re opening our second campaign office in Haverhill and I couldn’t be more excited,” Koh said. “I am so grateful for the support I have received so far, and I look forward to continuing to expand our grassroots operation throughout the 3rd District.”

The office serves as a hub for organizers, volunteers and supporters, Koh’s team told WHAV. His campaign remains headquartered in Koh’s Andover hometown.

Also this week, Koh was the first 3rd District candidate to release a TV ad. His 30-second spot focused on family, showcasing Koh’s family’s immigrant story. Of Korean-Lebanese descent, Koh vows in the ad to “step up, fight back, and advance a bold, progressive vision.”
