Saturday, April 28 is this year’s national drug takeback day, with several Merrimack Valley police stations and municipalities offering dedicated drop-off sites from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Residents may dispose of unwanted or expired prescription medication at the following locations this weekend:
Andover: Water Treatment Plant, 397 Lowell St.
Atkinson: 27 Academy Ave.
Methuen: Police station, 90 Hampshire St.
Plaistow: Rite Aid, 31 Garden Road
Haverhill’s police station at 40 Bailey Blvd., has a disposal bin available in the lobby 24/7.
