Merrimack Valley Hospice will soon begin offering a support group specific to LGBTQ individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The first meeting is scheduled for Weds., April 18 and will be held on the first and third Wednesday of each month until June 20.

The group will meet at 360 North Ave., in a meeting room at High Pointe House, the hospice and palliative care residence of Merrimack Valley Hospice.

The group is designed “to provide a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQ individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one so they can share their unique grief journey in a safe and comfortable environment,” according to a statement.
