Applications are due for the Goldman Memorial Scholarships by April 16.
There are three $1000 scholarships available, one for a high school graduate or graduating senior, one for a HiSet recipient and one for a post-secondary student.
The scholarships are offered by Community Action, Inc. in honor of their former executive director, Gerald Goldman, who passed away in 1995. Each year, Community Action awards three scholarships in his name.
Students from Haverhill, Amesbury, Newburyport, Salisbury, Groveland, Georgetown, Boxford, Rowley, Newbury, West Newbury, and Merrimac are eligible to apply.
