Northern Essex Community College will hold its annual “College for a day” event on Weds., April 11, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Haverhill campus.

Participants can sit in on college-level courses, speak with current students, go on guided tours of the campus and meet with admission staff to learn about the application process.

At the same time, Northern Essex will be holding a campus Renaissance Fair, titled “A Knight’s Realm,” which plays upon the Northern Essex mascot. The fair will include games and crafts — including archery, a scavenger hunt, and a “create your own shield” station — as well as free food and live music. Attendees can talk to faculty, staff, and students and learn more about many of the student organizations offered at Northern Essex.

All are welcome to participate.
