A. Elizabeth “Betty” (Lynn) Rurack, 90, Lifelong Haverhill Resident

A. Elizabeth “Betty” (Lynn) Rurack, 90, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died April 3 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

Daughter of the late Thomas P. and Katherine (Lynn) Rurack, and sister of the late Mary C. Gallant and Thomas P. Lynn, Jr., Betty was educated at Saint James Grammar School and was a member of the Saint James High School Class of 1944.

Over the years, she was employed at the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, the office of Christies Poultry Farm in Kingston, N.H., Avco Corporation, and finally retired from Textron Corporation in Wilmington after 33 years of service.

A member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill, Betty enjoyed extensive traveling around the world including many cruises with her husband Edward and especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty of her yard.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward R. Rurack, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and cousins and good friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours to be held on Friday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway.
