Dr. Rosenbloom to Retire After 50 Years

After 50 years of caring for the people of Haverhill, Dr. Carl Rosenbloom will be retiring, effective April 1.

A reception of appreciation for the longtime pediatrician will be held on March 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the MacMillan Conference Room on the 3rd floor of the Pentucket Medical Building at One Parkway in downtown Haverhill.

Dr. Rosenbloom is a legend in Haverhill having cared for thousands of children, adolescents and young adults from Haverhill and the surrounding communities.  Many of his current patients are the children, and even grandchildren, of other patients he cared for over those 50 years.

A statement from Pentucket Medical describes Rosenbloom as “a passionate advocate for the health and welfare of the children of this community,” and said that ” Dr. Rosenbloom has represented the city with honor and distinction and has been a member of the Board of Health since the 1980’s. As a public servant, he has been a defender and promoter of the city of Haverhill. His lasting legacy is the boundless dedication and compassion he demonstrated each and every day for the children under his care,” and said that, “he will be deeply missed.”

All are welcome to attend the reception.
