Community members from several Merrimack Valley organizations and school groups will gather Thursday, March 29 on the Haverhill campus of Northern Essex Community College to mark the 4th annual White Ribbon Day.
The YWCA of Northeastern Massachusetts and students from both Haverhill High and Northern Essex will come together to raise awareness of violence against women and gender-based crimes.
Haverhill state Rep. Andy Vargas will offer a keynote address during the presentation from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Massachusetts White Ribbon ambassador Andy Polanco will also speak during the morning’s program, which includes a light breakfast.
