Veterans and their families in the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire are encouraged to attend Sunday’s information session put on by Haverhill’s Veterans Council at the American Legion, 1314 Main St., Haverhill.
An overview on benefits relating to medical, disability, education, hospice and housing will be provided from 1 to 4 p.m. Representatives will also discuss the best way to process military document requests and apply for counseling and legal services.
The event is free and open to the public.
