Snow Delays Haverhill’s Last Day of School Until June 22

Haverhill’s students will have to hit the books for longer than expected before school’s out for summer—with all thanks to Mother Nature.

As the city digs out from Winter Storm Skyler’s 24.3 inches of snow, Haverhill’s official last day of school has been moved from June 18 to June 22.

This week alone, students were kept home from classes on Tuesday and Wednesday, with superintendent James F. Scully declaring bus routes and sidewalks unsafe after the blizzard.
