Earl Tibbetts, 83, of Newton, N.H., died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 9. He was born in Haverhill on Jan. 5, 1935, the son of the late William and Amanda (Yell) Tibbetts. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Tibbetts graduated from the former Haverhill Trade School in 1953.
