Northern Essex Community College invites Merrimack Valley children and teens to take part in the 20th anniversary session of the school’s College for Kids program, which will merge this year with NECC’s STEM Academy.

For four weeks starting in July, students in grades 2 through 10 can learn and explore all things science, technology, engineering and math in addition to the College for Kids mainstay physical activity and arts programs.

Campers will be divided into three age groups: Juniors (7 to 10-year-olds), Seniors (10 to 13-year-olds) and STEM Academy students (13 to 16-year-olds). Activities are still being finalized, but topics may include nature photography, clay sculpture, forensic science and projectile physics.
