Local actors from 6 to 17 are invited to audition for the Haverhill YMCA’s spring performance of “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” later this month on March 23 and 24.
Production director Brittani Napoli tells WHAV auditions will be held on Friday, March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 24 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Haverhill Y on Winter Street. The play will be staged locally on June 1 and 2.
Twenty speaking roles are available, Napoli said.
Auditions, made possible with the support of the YMCA of the Northshore Theatre Company, are open to any Merrimack Valley resident and a YMCA membership is not necessary to take part.
Those selected to participate will be charged a fee to cover the cost of scripts, costumes, staging and other needs to make the performance a success.
